I guess the friends from the north are very familiar with scenes like this. But in Greece it's not something you see every day. This is what happens when the early morning mist freezes on the little branches when the temperatures gets below zero. Of course, this is a on a mountain.

Well we had this covering everything just last week. Here in where I live in southwestern Ohio, it is called "hoar frost" and in our environment it happens when there is morning fog and freezing temperatures.
White landscapes five months a year here, but this photo is still beautiful :)
Great photo, you can even see which way the wind was blowing as it froze!
