Blue and white. All over.

Another slice of summer dreaming, this time from Paros island. My mind is still on vacation, I find it difficult to post, to write, to upload, even to think of something interesting. Instead of interesting, here is something simply beautiful.

Athens DP is back

This is the sunset of the last day of my vacations for this summer. Fortunatelly, the ever-nice greek weather and the not so distant islands, always give opportunities for fast trips.

Thanks to anyone who left messages all these days, I will pay a visit to most of the DPs to catch up.

Remembering the heroes

Europe is full of war memorials and this one, in Andros island, stands there for almost 100 years, commemorating not only the dead of World War 1 but the Balkan Wars of 1912-13 as well.

On the background is the town's nursery home for the elderly people, one of the noumerous neoclassic buildings in Andros, monuments of the significant wealth that the island was enjoying for the first half of the 20th century.

Athens DP is on Vacation

Diver cow and a museum

The cow originally had diving cylinders on her sides, they vanished somehow.
