We've been hearing about this for a while now. It's so sad. I hear now that at least some were arson, possibly by property developers?
So sad!... this brings tears to my eyes...I really hope this horrible tragedy ends soon so that Greece can start to heal. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is suffering from these awful fires.
Having family still living in Greece and seeing for my self, fires and destruction, my last visit, I can't imagine something as devastating as these have been this year.
This just breaks my heart.
I thought the news here said the fires are now under control but maybe there are new fires. Thanks for your photos - it makes the situation seem very real.
This makes me very sad. Thank you for posting this. It is important. I hope this is over soon.
