A fighter plane right beside a busy avenue and just in front of cars and buses is not something you see every day. This F-104 Starfighter used to fly for Hellenic Air Force and now retires in the backyard of Athens War Museum. Not really a glorious ending for a fighter career but much better than turning into scrap metal anyway.See it on the map (the smallest rectangle)

the mother of my grandmother used to live beside a school in a little town. I dont know how..but there was an old military airplane on the yard of the school. I was always eager to get there to the school:) Last time I loved to go to school:))))
I don't know, I think its good for the plane to be on show and people stopping to ogle. Better than being turned into bean cans.
