Paradise Lost

It's a moment of great grief, with hundreds of wildfires raging all over southern Greece. In some years from now, it will be impossible to find places like this.

This photo makes me feel lonely but peaceful. Lonely in the fact it the picnic tables look lonely and are sitting there waiting for people. Peaceful in the fact it would be nice to have a quite picnic.

I pray it will not be long before the fires are quenched. Nature has a way of recovering after such events.

I'm totally revolted by what is happening in your wonderful country, Ovelikios. One year in Portugal, one year in Greece, in Southern France or Corsica, every time we hear about pyromaniacs... Seeing all these people crying in front of their house before ruuning away, everybody feels concerned and sick. I think EC must do more to help Greece...Thoughts.

Thank you all for your kind words and the thoughts and the feelings. Let's hope nature will recover soon. But I am afraid people will not any time soon.

Hello,
It's incredible to see a good landscape which is not destroyed by the fire.Every summer you can see forests which are burning in Portugal,Spain,South of France and Corsica,Italy,Slovenia,Croatia,Bulgaria,Macedonia,Usa and Canada...
